How can I wash my moulds?
Wash your moulds with warm water, high temperatures may damage the material.
Why doesn’t my chocolate come out of the mould easily?
For a clean release and glossy finish, your chocolate must be properly tempered—just melting it isn’t enough. Tempering allows the chocolate to contract as it cools, so it pops out of the polycarbonate mould easily.
Can I just melt chocolate, pour it into a mould, and refrigerate it to set?
No — melted chocolate needs to be tempered before filling moulds. Tempering is a process that stabilises the chocolate so it sets properly, releases easily from the mould, and has a smooth, glossy finish. If you skip tempering, the chocolate may stick to the mould, look dull, and have a soft or streaky texture.
What are the sizes of the chocolates?
Chocolate sizes vary depending on the shape. Below are approximate dimensions:
- Icons & Letters – 40mm x 40mm x 6mm
- Rectangle Tablet – 180mm x 90mm x 20mm
- Square Tablet – 170mm x 170mm x 20mm
What material are the moulds made from?
Our moulds are made from food-safe 1mm transparent PETG plastic.
